Please join us for the July General Membership meeting of 2024. Presentations will include updates on CKAA business as well as committee updates. Lunch will be provided and we will have a special guest speaker, Dr. Nicholas Wright, Ph.D. speaking on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Guest Speaker: Dr. Nicholas Wright, Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Dr. Nicholas Lamar Wright is a champion of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, & accessibility. He is a nationally recognized, award-winning higher education leader, scholar, and practitioner who excels at making connections and building inclusive cultures. Dr. Wright serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Wright identifies as a multiracial (Black/White) man who graduated from the University of Louisville with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling and Personnel Services, specializing in College Student Personnel. Dr. Wright has published research on topics such as multiraciality, racial climate, sense of belonging, prioritizing accessibility, and disability equity. Dr. Wright’s philosophy focuses on accessibility and inclusivity, which motivates him to build more inclusive cultures for people to express authenticity.
