Meets: Second Thursday of the Month | 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the CKAA Office
This council is made up of CKAA vendor members that apply and are appointed for open seats on the council. They are responsible for at least three fundraisers each year: Keeneland Meets, Reverse Trade Show, & Annual Trade Show*. The Associate Council is the voice of all CKAA vendors and is responsible for providing networking arenas to the property members.
*There is also a Sub-Committee that is open to ALL members - Associates and Regular members - the Trade Show Sub-Committee.
The Crowne Excellence Awards is our Annual Awards Gala and our amazing Awards Committee is in charge of it. Last year, we had over 250 people in attendance! Between picking out chair covers and food to recruiting sponsors and silent auction donations, there is a lot to do! This committee is also responsible for reviewing judging criteria and guidelines for nominations.

The Education Committee is responsible for all of the education events throughout the year that the CKAA has to offer! They plan, market, and implement all educational offerings. From HVAC certifications to all NAA designation programs and the general membership meeting speakers and seminars, this committee does it all. Join this wonderful committee today!

Meets: Second Tuesday of the Month | 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the CKAA Office
This committee, in conjunction with the Executive Director, closely monitors and reviews legislative and regulatory issues pertinent to the multi-family housing industry on local, state and federal levels. When appropriate they develop positions, as well as a plan and implement strategic action to affect desirable outcomes. They also communicate with CKAA members to explain how these legal issues may impact them.
Managers Key Council
Chairperson: Allison Gibson, Greyson on 27
Meets: Second Tuesday of the Month | 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the CKAA Office
This council consists of a group of appointees, all holding multifamily management positions. The council was formed to directly represent on-site management. MKC offers an excellent forum, in the form of annual meetings and roundtable discussions, for property managers to exchange ideas and information. This council is also responsible for organizing CKAA's annual Monte Carlo Night*, as well as a Vendor Appreciation Luncheon.
*There is also a Monte Carlo Sub-Committee that is open to ALL members - Associates, Regular, and Community members.

The Membership Committee is responsible for planning and implementing new and exciting ideas for membership recruitment and retention. This Committee also observes current member services and their effectiveness and potential ways to expand or implement new member services. This committee is a great group to belong to as you get to know the members first hand.

The Outreach Committee focuses on giving back to the community. This committee titles themselves as "The warm and fuzzy committee." Each year, this committee is involved in events throughout the year that allow our members to work together for the betterment of the Association and community. In the past, Outreach has been involved with the American Heart Association, Relay for Life, and Open Arms. This Committee puts on the annual CKAA Food, Toys, and Blanket Drive in conjunction with the Adopt- A-Family Efforts. Sign up for Outreach and make a difference!
